INTRODUCTION
There are many types of wordless books : those with images but which tell no stories; play-books which promote interaction with the reader, inviting her to find people or objects, to draw, to perceive shapes and colours, to combine images, to write, etc.
The course will focus on wordless albums, books which tell, essentially through images, either fictional or documentary stories. In these sessions, different kinds of stories will be taught; versions, endless stories, zooms, metamorphosis, choral albums, etc. Examples of each type will be read and analysed (easily adapted to work with children and teenagers) to help us understand how these graphic stories work.
